WILL MY BALLUMINATOR WORK IN ANY BALLOON?
Your Balluminator works best in the standard shape latex balloon, although it can be used in foil balloons with a clear window through to the inside.
Still, you could try the Balluminator to make a big ‘heart shaped’ balloon glow, or to add the extra ‘wow’ factor to a balloon sculpture!
WILL MY BALLUMINATOR WORK WITH HELIUM?
Yes! Your Balluminator will float in a helium filled balloon. It will work best with balloons that are 12” or bigger.
CAN I USE A BALLUMINATOR IN WATER?
Yes! Any balloon is waterproof once tied off, adding the Balluminator doesn’t change this. Glowing balloons filling a swimming pool or hot tub look great!
IS THE BALLUMINATOR CHILD FRIENDLY?
The Balluminator used to decorate rooms where small children will be is ok. However, the Balluminator does contain small parts, therefore could be a choking hazard, and there is a risk of poisoning if swallowed.
So, to be safe, balloons containing Balluminators should be used under adult supervision, and must be kept out of reach of children under the age of seven years.
HOW LONG WILL MY BALLUMINATOR LAST?
Your Balluminator will last up to 20 hours due to the length of battery life. The light will then run down gradually.
However, the LED’s will last many, many more hours – so to keep your balloons glowing all you need to do is replace the battery and start over again!
The Balluminator battery is available in most electrical shops.
Don’t forget you can turn your Balluminator on and off.
WHAT COLOURS ARE AVAILABLE?
You have the choice of Red, Green, Blue, Yellow and Super Bright White. You can use any colour in any balloon, but for the best effect use in white balloons.
MY BALLUMINATOR WON’T WORK….
This problem is usually due to a dead battery, or because the battery has bad contact with the inside walls of the Balluminator.
What to do:-
Unscrew the base
Take out the batteries
Check inside to see if anything has moved whilst in transit
Check to make sure your battery isn’t dead by trying it in a working Balluminator unit
Replace the battery and make sure you screw the base in all the way (remove any tape wrapped around the battery, and make sure that the flat surface of the battery showing the writing is facing towards the base)
It should work now!
If you are still having trouble, then unscrew the base and push the batteries all the way in with your finger. If the LED lights up then the batteries aren’t making proper contact. Try re-arranging or twisting the batteries.
